FC Barcelona had a disappointing performance on Saturday as they dropped points in La Liga once again. The league leaders surrendered a 0-2 lead to Celta de Vigo in just two minutes, resulting in a 2-2 draw.
Barcelona's recent form has been concerning, especially after their 1-0 defeat to Real Sociedad before the international break. This loss tightened the race at the top of La Liga, and without Frenkie de Jong in the starting lineup, Hansi Flick's team aimed to bounce back.
Despite the setback, Barcelona seemed to be on the right track during the match. They took a 0-2 lead after an hour, thanks to goals by Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski, the latter scoring his fifteenth league goal of the season.
The tables turned against Barcelona when Marc Casadó received his second yellow card in the 82nd minute. Celta de Vigo seized the opportunity and quickly equalized, with Alfon González scoring in the 84th minute followed by Hugo Álvarez's goal in the 86th minute.
Despite the disappointing draw, Barcelona remains the league leaders. With two more games played than Real Madrid, they are still out of reach for the defending champions. Real Madrid will face Leganés in an away match on Sunday.
